The night of
The night of a big trip is always weird...Even though I told myself I'd be in bed by nine, I'm still up and bustling around, doing last minute things I could only have remembered, hastily, a few hours before my departure. I feel torn; I am at once understandably excited but also loathe to leave behind the place that I call home. After a few days, I had finally begun to settle into the groove of life in Connecticut, rekindle friendships and relationships and appreciate the slow rhythm of summer. To my family, friends and miscellaneous loved ones, I miss you all already. T-14 hours and I'll be in a whole new world. Goodnight!
